Ballarat is close to Victoria's capital city Melbourne and equally close to coastal and inland attractions. A town alive with the memory of the 1850’s gold rush era which infected the entire region. Many of our most notorious outlaws such as Ned Kelly and  “Mad Dog Morgan” were held and quartered here.

You can view many historic buildings such as the old courthouse or the cemeteries which tell not only of the history of criminal activity but also one of the Chinese immigrants who labored over this land and have contributed to the rich history of Victoria. Board Bendigo’s famous talking tram for a sightseeing tour and perhaps visit the spectacular Golden Dragon Museum and Chinese Gardens.
